An afternoon and evening on the limestone cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula. Swim at the coves of Padang Padang and Nyang Nyang, pause at a clifftop bar as the light softens, then walk the cliff path of Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of Bali's six directional sea temples, 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. The Kecak fire dance begins at 18.00 against the sunset, and dinner follows by the water at Jimbaran.

The path to Nyang Nyang is long and steep; Padang Padang is an easier alternative.
