Lombok's south coast is a run of wide bays between green headlands, far quieter than Bali's beaches. Begin in Sade, a Sasak village of thatched houses and weavers, then follow the coast west to Selong Belanak and the sheltered cove of Mawun. The afternoon ends east of Kuta at Tanjung Aan and a short climb up Bukit Merese for sunset over the bays.
